E-learning Platform
Description: E-learning platform for practical courses with progress tracking, homework review functionality and video content protection.
Client: Startup owner.
Challenge: Our client provides educational services for IT sales managers. After they’ve launched their first online educational course, our customer wished to develop a platform for convenient interactions between students and coaches. The main problem our customer faced was copyright violence. So that we had to find the ways to prevent videos from being downloaded by third parties.
Solution: We’ve delivered both development and design for this project. All videos are arranged into sections there. The system can track and identify which lectures students have passed and lets them proceed to watch the next. The system can filter by courses, students, progress and homework status (check/not checked/not approved). For the convenience of coaches the interface also has a notification bar showing how many home tasks are pending review.
Every module finishes with a test and according to the progress students are either allowed to proceed with the course, either have to take it once again. Students can leave comments and arrange discussions in a special field under the video. Our team has also developed a solution to protect all videos within the system. After admin uploads the video, the system fractions it. Because video streams permanently change, it allows to avoid copyright violence. So now our customer has no worries someone will download any of the video.
